Excel Map!!!
In this trimester we worked on our excel maps. I liked working with excel because most of the otehr classes we work with word or powerpoint, and now I can use excel too. Usually when I go on the computer I find it a bit nervracking because you never know if it’s going to save it or not. I thought I did good on how the event was important to Washington State, but for some of them they were a bit tricky to figure out. Also, I think I did good on how I brought the comment to life, because i created a link for almost all of them. What I think I could do better on would be where i placed my comments. Some of them were in a good place, but if all of them took place in Seattle, then I didn’t have enough space to fit them all in. I thought the screen cast was kind of hard because, for mine, it didn’t save it, and some people had problems with getting the sound to work. But when we finally figured it out, it was ok. I would rather have done it manualy because I think it would have been easier. This trimester I have learned a lot about Washington State. I have learned how it was created, who and what impacted it. When the first railroads were created, when we hosted the first World’s fair, and much more!!

Washington State- Ch.3
In chapter 3 the things I’ll remember the most are the Coastal Indians culture. What i leanred is that their clothes were made from cedar bark, and during ceremonies or festivals they would have a certain dance they’d perform and they’d have a certain outfit. This is important to Washington State’s hisory because we can learn from them, and today some Native Americans still perform these dances.

Washington State- Ch.2
In ch. 2 the things I’ll remember most are the different regions. What i learned is that there are seven different regions in Washington state and which animals and flowers live in those regions depeding on the habitat. This was an important part of Washington State’s history because this shows where some of the animals that only live in Washington State are, like the banana slug. Also, people can go to the different regions depending upon if they want to g or down by the ocean.

Washington History- Ch.1
In chapter 1, the things I’ll remember most are the Scablands, and the Lake Missoula Flood. What I learned is that the flood was caused by the glacier Lake Missoula, which was during the Ice Age. This was an important part of our state because, it formed a huge part of Washington, where many tourists go, The Scablands.

Wiki– What did I like and not like.
What I liked about the wiki was that it was easy to control, and everything you needed was right there on the tool bar. But what I didn’t like was how it wouldn’t always save, but then it would recover your profile. I also didn’t like how it wouldn’t show you if your word were spelled wrong. What I think I did well on my project was the citing your sources. I did well on this because, usually, citing sources is hard for me, and this was pretty easy. What I think I could do better on would be the introduction. I thought the introduction was the hardest bit because I wasn’t really sure what to write. So in the future I would put more thought into my introductions.
